Group coaching is when a set of clear goals and objectives are developed in favor of the business's needs. This results in high performing teams, cross functional leadership, a group of potential leaders, better strategic planning sessions, more effective communication skills, better management, and definitely more job satisfaction.
As a Group Coach I work with a group of individuals, or a "team" individually and in advance of the Team/Group Coaching day with confidential 1:1 conversations with each to identify opportunities and challenges. Then we come together as a whole group working and collaborating as a Team, to develop the full potential within the team, helping each individual perform at their best, while working together, still as a team, since together, everyone achieves more. Collaboratively, we develop a group plan to fix what needs to be fixed, to achieve the goal in hand, and follow through its implementation, to ensure that it is working for everyone and providing the best possible result.
An employee who feels as though they belong in a company, is known to have a higher level of loyalty and feelings of involvement towards the company they work for. As a result, their level of motivation is considered to be highly motivated, and as such, their productivity level is pretty high and so will have a direct and positive impact on the company's Return of Investment (ROI). Employee turnover will decrease substantially, and productivity will increase. It is a win-win situation for both the employer and the employee to have a third party coach, mediate, or simply provide another perspective or angle as to how things could be done differently. This is achieved primarily by shifting focus from the task in hand, to who is performing the task, for when we look after the person, the task gets taken care of by default as well.
